Team Building for Education Groups

Team Building for Education Groups – Developing Strong, Connected and High Performing Groups

A successful team is built on communication, trust and shared purpose — and nothing brings those qualities to life like an outdoor team building experience.

Outdoor Elements delivers powerful team building programmes for secondary schools, colleges and universities, designed to help groups of students work together effectively, build confidence and develop the essential skills needed for academic and personal success.

Our outdoor activity days focus on the core elements of great teamwork: communication, leadership, problem solving, resilience and collaboration. Through a series of exciting challenges, students discover their individual strengths, learn how to support one another and experience what it takes to achieve success as a team.

Reflective reviews at the end of each activity help students recognise what they’ve learned and understand how these skills transfer into the classroom, lecture hall and wider life.

A Typical Team Building Day

Our Lancashire-based outdoor activity centre can accommodate up to 100 students per day.

Participants work in small groups of 10–11 and rotate through a range of team-building challenges.

Example schedule:

This structure gives students a full, varied and energising day outdoors, encouraging them to step outside their comfort zone and work together in new and meaningful ways.
