Option 1: Mini Explorer’s Birthday Party (2 hours)
Our most popular party for this age group is fun and action packed. With an exciting Woodland Den Building session and a Welly Walk Adventure, it is perfect for energetic young explorers.
Your party group will head deep into the woods with their instructor, following hidden trails and discovering the magic of the forest on their way to base camp.
At base camp, the challenge begins: A storm is coming… can they build a woodland den in time?
Using tarpaulin sheets, ropes and natural materials, the children work together to create their shelter before diving inside as the “storm” rolls overhead.
The adventure continues with a thrilling Welly Walk back through the woodland stream — splashing through shallow pools, scrambling over rocks and weaving under fallen branches.
Along the way, they’ll encounter the Cave, the Log of Doom, the Slippery Slabs, the Crocodile Pool and the Troll’s Bridge.
A fun, muddy, memory-making outdoor birthday party they’ll never forget.

A minimum charge for 10 participants applies. Prices include VAT and are valid at weekends and during school holidays. Extra participants must be booked in advance. Our cancellation policy applies to cancelled places.
Food Options
If you’d like to include food, we’ll build a dedicated food time into your party session.
Choose one of the following:
- Lunch boxes (sandwich, crisps, biscuit) — £4 per child
- Bring your own packed lunch (please take all litter home)
General Information
- All birthday parties take place at our outdoor activity centre in Simonstone, Lancashire.
- A kit list will be provided with your booking confirmation — Wellington boots are essential.
- All instructors are DBS checked and first aid trained.
- Written risk assessments for all activities are available.
- We hold Professional Indemnity, Civil Liability and Employers Liability Insurance.

- We’ll send your booking confirmation, group information form and invoice.
- Pay a 50% deposit to secure your date.
- Pay the remaining balance 4 weeks before your activity day.
