Jacob’s Ladder is a popular outdoor team-building activity often set up in a woodland environment. It consists of seven levels of horizontal wooden logs suspended between two trees, forming a giant ladder that participants must climb. The rungs are spaced increasingly far apart as the ladder rises, making each level progressively more challenging. Typically, participants work together as a team of three climbers, and it is essential that they help each other ascend, fostering teamwork, communication, and trust within the natural woodland surroundings.

What to Expect from Jacob’s Ladder
The Jacob’s Ladder at Outdoor Elements doesn’t quite reach the heavens, but does go up to 14 metres into the woodland canopy. The challenge is a team effort with three climbers needing to work together to progress up each of the 7 levels to the top. Jacob’s Ladder is one of the most physically demanding height activities on offer, and those who take on the challenge will need to help each other if they are to be successful. Members of the team who are not climbing will be responsible for securing the safety ropes under the watchful supervision of the instructor, making this activity a true team challenge.
