Discover the Excitement of Crate Stacking
Crate Stacking is a simple game. Stack the sturdy plastic crates one on top of the other and see how many levels your tower can reach before it topples and comes crashing down. First, the team will decide which members of the group will be climbing the crate tower because the number of levels only counts if one or two of your team members are standing on the top of that level. The climbers will be harnessed and secured with safety ropes so that when the tower topples, they are left safely dangling in the air like puppets. The rest of the team has to keep a close eye on the tower whilst they help to stack and support it, and be prepared to quickly move when the crates fall.

What to Expect from a Crate Stack Session
Crate Stacking at Outdoor Elements is simple to learn and a regular favourite activity with our customers. After a briefing to ensure everyone understands the safety rules and fit the safety helmets, your group must decide who is brave enough to be the first climbers. Whilst the climbers are fitted with the harness and securely attached to the rope system, the rest of the team get busy working together to build the tower. Stepping up one level at a time at first it seems simple, but, as the tower grows ever taller the challenge becomes more tricky. Eventually – and inevitably – gravity takes over, and the tower leans too far and topples, leaving the unbalanced climbers swinging safely in the air, adding extra fun and suspense! Within your session time there is opportunity for everyone who wants to, to have a go at being the climbers on the top.
Multiple teams often compete to see who can build the tallest tower, aiming to beat the Outdoor Elements Crate Stacking record and earn a place in the Crate Stacking Hall of Fame.
